APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION OF A NATIONAL BREED COUNCIL
3. APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION OF A NATIONAL BREED COUNCIL |

| 3.1 | Applications must be addressed to, and forwarded to the Canine Controlling Body recognised by the A.N.K.C. in the State or Territory of residence of the Secretariat of the Applicant. |

| 3.2 | Applications must be accompanied by the Application Fee, as determined by the ANKC, and payable to the ANKC. (10/00) |

| 3.3 | The application shall include the following: |

| 3.3.1 | The name of the "National Breed Council". | |
| 3.3.2 | The full name, address and telephone number of the contact person for the National Breed Council. | |
| 3.3.3 | The name and address of all the supporting breed clubs, and verification that each of them is affiliated with the A.N.K.C. Member Body in the State or Territory in which they are established. (5/99) |

| 3.3.4 | A copy of the proposed Constitution, Rules and Regulations, or if incorporated, a copy of the Memorandum and Articles of Association, or such other document as required by the laws of the State or Territory in which the National Breed Council was established, and which evidences that the membership of the National Breed Council is comprised of the supporting Breed Clubs only, and does not invite individual persons as members. | 3.3.5 | An undertaking that the National Breed Council will, if registered, agree to be bound by the Rules and Regulations, policies and directions of the A.N.K.C. as amended from time to time. (5/99) |

| 3.3.6 | The name, address, membership number, or evidence of membership of the A.N.K.C. Member Body in the State or Territory of residence of the National Breed Council’s Office Bearers, Committee, Directors and Delegates. (5/99) |

| 3.4 | The application must be signed by the President and Secretary of the National Breed Council under the “common seal” of the Council, if incorporated. If not incorporated, accompanied by a copy of the Minute authorising the application be lodged. |

| 3.5 | The application for registration shall be submitted to the A.N.K.C. with a recommendation from the National Breed Councils Liaison Working Party. The A.N.K.C. may in its unfettered discretion approve, or reject, such application. (5/99) |
